Steps for submitting costs
Below you will find an overview of the steps for submitting costs to the health insurance company
Submitting costs to the health insurance company
Step 1 : Doctor's prescription
You can obtain a prescription for physiotherapy from your family doctor or specialist.
Step 2 : Start therapy
Please bring your findings with you to the first appointment so that we can draw up a treatment plan together.
Step 3: Chief physician approval (only necessary for SVS)
You must obtain approval for the prescription from your health insurance company within the first few weeks of it being issued. (No longer necessary for ÖGK and BVAEB)
Step 4 : Submit to health insurance company
Submit the fee note together with the approved prescription to your health insurance company. The reimbursement varies depending on the health insurance company.
Or use our interface and we will conveniently submit the fee note to your health insurance fund for you (only possible with SVS and ÖGK)
Step 5 : Possible private supplementary insurance
If you have private supplementary insurance, it is also possible to cover 100% of the costs and submit the fee note there.
