Biography

Theresa Schwab is a physiotherapist and neuro-athletic trainer with experience in neurological, orthopaedic and pulmonary rehabilitation, having previously worked in Tyrol.

She has acquired additional qualifications in neuro-athletics, functional patterns, myofascial release and scoliosis therapy and combines holistic movement approaches with targeted training of the central nervous system according to the principle of “input before output” in order to sustainably promote mobility, stability and everyday functions.

Theresa works functionally: instead of isolated exercises, she integrates them
into natural movement patterns such as walking, running or throwing, based on the biomechanical principle of human movement.
Her aim is to achieve sustainable improvements in everyday life and sport.

The neuro-athletic approach helps her to optimize motor control and body control in a targeted manner, even in the case of non-neurological complaints, as the brain is the control center of every movement.
She analyzes movement patterns in detail, looks for the causes of problems and supports patients with explanations and home exercises so that they can contribute to their own recovery.

In her private life, Theresa is active in sports, with fitness boxing, Reformer Pilates and skiing being her favorites.
She often combines therapies with boxing techniques, which not only promote balance, strength and flexibility, but also core stability, responsiveness and coordination. The whole body is also used.
For her, movement is not just training, but a means of promoting body control, stability and enjoyment of functional movement.
