Biography

Melanie’s interest and commitment to working with people became apparent early on during her voluntary social year in a care home. There she gained valuable experience, particularly in dealing with people with dementia. Working with older people and people with dementia still particularly fulfills her today.

During her occupational therapy studies, Melanie focused specifically on the fields of neurology and geriatrics. Her experience abroad during her studies and her work in nursing homes, (acute) neurological short-term and long-term care and in neurological and oncological rehabilitation centers have given her a broad spectrum of knowledge and experience.

It is particularly important to her to offer client-centered occupational therapy in order to work out individual goals, develop tailored solutions and thus sustainably improve the personal everyday life of her patients.
