Biography

Alja is a dedicated physiotherapist who cares deeply about the health and well-being of others. Her professional path began with a bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy, followed by a master’s degree specializing in movement rehabilitation. She is currently in the final stages of her Master’s thesis.

She deepened her expertise through a three-year program in manual therapy, in which she learned various manual techniques. She has also completed courses in orthopaedics, neurology, gynaecology and alternative medicine. Her passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) led her to a six-month TCM course and a one-year internship with a TCM doctor.

Professionally, Alja has gained experience in the fields of orthopaedics, neurology, geriatrics and yoga. She has worked in a variety of settings, including a spa, a physiotherapy institute, a neurological center for children with cerebral palsy and in various hospital departments. She currently specializes in neurorehabilitation at a neurotechnology center and works in parallel as an independent physiotherapist at the HealthPi health center, where she focuses on orthopaedic complaints.

As a certified yoga teacher with five years of experience, Alja leads both group and individual classes. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, meditation, running, kung fu and qi gong. She is also an enthusiastic language learner, is fluent in six languages and is always looking forward to learning new ones.
